These spicy, chew bars are hard to resist and make a great treat for everyone

Sultana and Cinnamon Chewy Bars (16 bars)
 Ingredients:
  • 115g/4oz/1/2 cup soft margarine
  • 25g/1oz/2 tbsp light soft brown sugar
  • 25g/1 oz plain toffees
  • 50g/2oz/1/4 cup clear honey
  • 175g/6oz/1 1/2 cups sultanis
  • 10ml/2tsp ground cinnamon
  • 175g/6oz gluten free rice crispies

Sultana and Cinnamon Chewy Bars

1. Lightly grease a shallow 23x28 / 9x11 in cake tin.  Place the margarine, sugar, toffees and honey in a saucepan and heat gently until melted, stirring.  Bring to boil then removed the pan from the heat.

2. Stir in sultanas, cinnamon, and rice crispies and mix well.  Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and spread the mixture evenly pressing it down firmly.

3. Leave to cool, then chill until firm.  Once firm cut into bars, remove from serving tin and serve.  Store the remaining bars in an airtight container in the fridge.
