Homemade quality and delicious gluten free chicken stocks that is easy to prepare 


Gluten Free Chicken Stock (750 ml / 3 cups)
Gluten Free Chicken Stocks Ingredients
  • 1 meaty chicken cacass
  • 6 shallots or 1 onions
  • 1 carrots
  • 2 celery stick
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt
  • ground pepper to taste

 

Preparation Method for Gluten Free Chicken Stock

1. Chop the chicken carcass into pieces and place in a large sauce pan with 1.75 litres or 7 1/2 cups of cold water.

2. Peel and slice the shallots or onion and carrots, then chop the celery.  Add vegetables and bayleaf to the sauce pan.  Stir and mix.

3. Bring to boil then partially cover and simmer for 2 hours.  Skimming off any scum and fat rises to the surface during cooking.

4. Strain the stock through a sieve then set aside to cool.  Seasoned with salt and pepper.

5. When cold, remove and discard all the fat and use the stock or freeze it for later used.  It can be sore in fridge for up to 3 days.
