Homemade quality and delicious gluten free beef stocks that is easy to prepare 


Gluten Free Beef Stocks Recipe (750ml / 3 cups)
Gluten Free Beef Stocks Ingredients
  • 450g / 1lb shin of beef on the bone
  • 450g/ 1lb beef or veal bones
  • 1 onions
  • 2 carrot
  • 1 turnip
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 leek
  • 1 bouquet garni
  • salt and ground black pepper
1. Preheat the oven 220 degree C / 425 degree F / Gas 7.  Place the meat and bones in a roasting tin and brown in the oven for about 30 minutes, then place in a large pan with 1.75 litres/ 3 pints / 71/2 cups cold water.

2. Peel and slice the onion and carrot, then peel and dice the turnip and chop the celery and leek.  Add the vegetables to the saucepan with the bouquet garni.  Stir to mix.

3. Bring to boil, then partially cover and simmer for 2 hours, skimming off any scum and fat that rises to the surface during cooking.

4. Strain the gluten free beef stock through fine sieve, then set aside to cool.  Store the chicken stock in fridge.
